Originally from the Wirral, but for many years resident in the Surrey Hills, David has been photographing nature and landscapes from around the world for many years. David finds rich pickings for photography both close to home and in the remotest of locations, and is never happier than battling the elements in pursuit of his passion for outdoor photography.
David's role in the World Wildlife Fund means he is well placed to understand how our runaway demand for natural resources is threatening the environment we depend on. His passion for the natural world is reflected in much of his photography and he has collaborated on recording WWF's conservation projects in Colombia, Malaysia and South Africa.
His work has featured in WWF's publications, diaries and calendars. His images have appeared in a range of books, magazines and exhibitions and he has won awards in in number of competitions including the ‘Our Lives’ competition, Outdoor Photographer of the Year and The Scottish Nature Photography Awards.
