Jenifer Bunnett’s first memories are of life in a Pembrokeshire cottage by the sea. A particularly clear recollection is of being rowed under an echoey seaweed clad bridge; it was a vivid green.
As a teen she spent many hours helping her father in his photographic studios with everyday wedding, portrait and press work, escaping to the coast as often as possible, for a chance at more creativity. Photography had managed to work its way into her psyche, and she found herself studying and working in the industry, bar when her sons were small, thereafter.
Despite later living in landlocked Surrey, the lure of the sea continued to draw her back until eventually it became the main focus of her work.
Jenifer has had success in the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards, British Photography Awards, British Life Photography Awards and International Garden Photographer of the Year Awards. Her images have been published in various magazines and books and she has exhibited widely.
