Raised in Pembrokeshire, immersed in the sights, sounds and smells of this perfectly beautiful landscape was part of everyday life for Jenifer Bunnett. Combined with much time helping in her father’s photographic studios and darkroom, the creative aspect of which informed the fine-art she went on to study, it was no surprise that eventually she would combine all of these elements and become the Fine-art Landscape Photographer she is today.
Her work is approached from a painterly perspective and she would like to see such photography fully accepted into the art world. Because almost anyone can ‘snap’ a photograph these days, she would like to see a fuller appreciation of the difference between instant photography and the considered, time consuming approach of a fine art photographer.
Jenifer has won awards in both the “Take-a- View” Landscape Photographer of the Year competition and the International Garden Photographer of the Year. These images have been included in the associated books and exhibitions; her image “Confluence” is part of the current 2018/19 LPOTY exhibition touring British Rail stations across the UK. She has exhibited in several exhibitions in her home county of Surrey and has had work included in exhibitions in London and abroad.
