Jenifer Bunnett’s first memories are of life in a Pembrokeshire cottage by the sea. A particularly clear recollection is of being rowed under an echoey seaweed clad bridge; it was a vivid green.
As a teen she spent many hours helping her father in his photographic studios with everyday wedding, portrait and press work, escaping to the coast as often as possible, for a chance at more creativity. Photography had managed to work its way into her psyche, and she found herself studying and working in the industry, bar when her sons were small, thereafter.
Despite later living in landlocked Surrey, the lure of the sea continued to draw her back until eventually it became the main focus of her work.
Jenifer has had success in several national and international photography competitions, her images have been published in a variety of books and magazines and she has exhibited widely.
